Abstract
The purpose of this study is to guide future studies on the subject by conducting a bibliometric analysis of the studies on the “dark tetrad” in the Web of Science. In this direction, bibliometric data of 250 studies published between 2013 and 2023 were used. The research results show that the first study on the dark tetrad was conducted in 2013 and the most studies were conducted in 2021. Also the most studies were found to be in the article type, in the field of psychology, in the English language and in the United States of America. The most cited publication is the article titled “Trolls Just Want to Have Fun” written by Buckels, Trapnell and Paulhus in 2014. The most collaborating author is E. March, the most cited author is D. L. Paulhus, the most cited country is Canada, the most cited institution is the University of British Columbia, the most frequently used keyword is “dark tetrad” and the most co-cited author is Paulhus.
